Belle Property has expanded into Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs with the opening of a new office in the locality.

Belle Property Surry Hills has opened a second office in Potts Point, with its principal Mark Foy leading its operations.

According to Mr Foy, he made the strategic decision to expand his footprint to bring a new offering and level of expertise to the area.

He said there is growth and shift in the culture and demographic of Potts Point, giving the business an advantage in real estate.

“The Potts Point area is a sophisticated market, offering a wide variance in properties and property prices,” he said.

“Over the years, it has been a diverse market, but with a move away from nightclubs and bars towards restaurants and cafes and a slower pace of life, this shift has meant we’re seeing a more affluent buyer type attracted to the area.”

According to Mr Foy, Potts Point has traditionally been dominated by one or two real estate brands.

“There is a real opportunity for a premium brand to inject itself into the market,” he said.

Mr Foy has brought on board real estate agent Ted Pye and business development manager Jason Assaf to help him with the operations of the new office.

“Both Ted and I have been servicing the Potts Point market via our Surry Hills office for some time, but we recognise the Potts Point market is unique and has its own set of intricacies and approaches,” he mentioned.

“So, we are very much looking forward to being able to better service this part of Sydney by being based in the local area.”

Belle Property CEO Peter Hanscomb said he looks forward to the new office servicing the growing market of Potts Point and surrounds.

“The same brands have been servicing the Potts Point area for more than 20 years, so it’ll be a welcomed challenge for Belle Property to break into a new market,” Mr Hanscomb said.

“Mark is a well-accomplished agent and a leader in the Belle Property network. He sets a high standard of performance for himself and his team, so there is no doubt he will see tremendous success in this new venture.”

Belle Property has been on a growth spurt. It most recently opened a new office in Cronulla, under the leadership of veteran agent and principal Frank Sotto.

Its commercial branch, Belle Property Commercial, also recently launched Belle Property Retail in Brisbane.
