Ray White has named a new senior property manager to the commercial branch of its business.

Christopher O’Callaghan has taken up the abovementioned role within Ray White Commercial NSW – Sydney City Fringe.

Mr O’Callaghan progresses within the commercial space after having been a property manager for the past five years.

“After studying ancient history at university, I went into the banking and financial services sector,” Mr O’Callaghan said.

“Looking for a change, I found commercial real estate to be both exciting and dynamic, and I’ve spent the last five years as a property manager.”

Mr O’Callaghan joined the Ray White Group as he wanted to be with a commercial team focused on growth and customer service.

“I heard Ray White was proud of every transaction, and that really appealed to me. I aim to exceed both the client’s and my own expectations, and treat even the smallest of transactions with as much respect as the high-value ones,” he said.

“At first, I aim to fully understand my client’s needs and their properties. In five years, I want to be an advocate for great customer service and well respected in the wider team, and in 10 years, my goal is to be the best property manager in the business.”

Mr O’Callaghan said his approach is to be a people’s person and address the needs of every client.

“I once had a deceased client and I went out of my way to assist the family in dealing with the administrative nightmare that is a deceased estate,” he said.

“The family was so grateful for the hard yards I put in, we kept the management and the family gave us an additional two commercial properties to manage.”

Mr O’Callaghan also said that he looks forward to building a positive work environment for his colleagues and become a trusted mentor in the future.

Ray White Commercial NSW – Sydney City Fringe principals Kristian Morris and Justin Rose said they look forward to having Mr O’Callaghan as part of the team.

“Recruitment is at the forefront of growing a business and we’re very pleased to have such an experienced operator in Chris joining our own little family,” Mr Morris said.

“It has only been a short time, but Chris has already hit the ground running and fits in perfectly with our Ray White ethics and values,” Mr Rose added.
