A successful agent with more than 15 years of experience in Australian and European real estate has taken on the helm at a Ray White Commercial business.
Peter Vines is now the managing director of Ray White Commercial NSW – Western Sydney, with aspirations of expansion and market domination.
According to Mr Vines, there is plenty of opportunity in the western suburbs as the area is the epicentre of Sydney.
“[There is] a lot of money being poured into infrastructure out there… the growth opportunities for a commercial business are just enormous,” he said.
“There’s a huge opportunity to take market share from competitors and offer people something different.”
He plans on increasing business through expanding the team, whose focus will be on industrial leasing and sales.
In addition, he intends on having commercial operators across the west and south-west of Sydney.
“The aim will be to open offices in Liverpool and Penrith further down the track,” he said.
Mr Vines mentioned that his family had always been involved in real estate, and Ray White as a fourth-generation family-owned business really appealed to him.
“My family and I have been around property all my life and the family values and having the ability to have my own professional family was an opportunity too good to miss,” he said.
“Ray White is such a fantastic and recognisable brand, and no matter where you go in Australia, Ray White is a household name. For that reason alone, it automatically opens doors for you, particularly in the commercial world.
“When you combine that with Jeff Moxham, Joseph Assaf and the existing team being so well respected in the industry, I knew I was onto a winner.”
Ray White Commercial NSW managing director and partner Jeff Moxham said Mr Vines’ addition was “an exciting step” in the growth of the Ray White Commercial NSW brand.
“Peter’s reputation, work ethic and contacts in the industry are renowned and constantly reflected in his success. He will thrive in the entrepreneurial environment that is Ray White,” Mr Moxham said.
“It’s this environment that truly sets us apart from our competitors, one that’s driven by the same thirst for continuous improvement that has seen our partners, the White family, grow from one office to more than 1,000 across the globe.”
Ray White Group managing director Dan White said Mr Vines is a “high-calibre professional” that will be beneficial to the continued development of the Ray White commercial network.
“He not only wants to build his own business and lead a great team, but he wants to build something special,” Mr White said.
“Combine his ambition and track record with everything that is happening in Western Sydney, and we have a huge opportunity to be the commercial industry leader in that critical market.”
