A RE/MAX International Hall of Fame inductee has joined the McGrath Estate Agents Surfers Paradise team in a bid to grow the team's local footprint.

Nicole Carter has joined the local team after 13 years with RE/MAX where she established its Robina office, ranked in the top 30 of its agents and was inducted into its Hall of Fame.

Ms Carter said she was attracted to McGrath as its business values aligned with her own and it was the right time for a change.

“I wanted to further grow my career and the opportunity to be associated with a premium brand such as McGrath is very exciting not only to me, but I feel will be advantageous to my client base as well,” she said.

Ms Carter said the local market was attractive to families and young couples, particularly following the election where more people were keen to purchase.

“Since the election, we are seeing renewed interest and buyer activity. For the first time in six months, they appear to be making a decision to purchase, whereas prior to that they were sitting on their hands,” she said.

Queensland state manager Justin Marsden said he was thrilled to have Ms Carter to spearhead the team given her record for sales.

“She will be a great asset to the team servicing the area from Paradise Point/Broadwater, the c entral Gold Coast and out to the hinterland,” Mr Marsden said.

“Nicole has successfully immersed herself in her local area where she is an incredibly active resident but also is highly regarded in the wider community.”
