REA Group has been confirmed as the new major partner of the Sydney Swans, giving the real estate giant access to a suite of digital assets and a bolstered presence at the team’s home games.
realestate.com.au has officially become the club’s new major partner and official property search partner.
In signing the three-year deal, realestate.com.au has gained increased access to digital assets and greater representation at the Swans home games, including at-ground branding and an exclusive hospitality lounge directly beneath the scoreboard.
In addition, the club will don the realestate.com.au logo on their playing guernsey.
The deal comes off the back of a “successful relationship” enjoyed by the pair over the past four seasons, according to REA Group CEO Owen Wilson.
“With 8.7 million people coming to realestate.com.au each month, we are reaching more Australians than ever before, particularly in New South Wales, where audience engagement continues to accelerate,” he said.
“After four successful seasons, we’re thrilled to take our partnership to the next level. NSW is an incredibly important market to our business, and this major partnership creates enormous potential for us to drive loyalty and engagement with our customers and consumers.
“I know [Sydney Swans CEO] Tom [Harley] and the Swans team value our partnership, and we look forward to deepening our ties.”
Sydney Swans CEO Tom Harley offered a similar sentiment, noting the club is excited to be strengthening its relationship with REA Group.
“We’ve really enjoyed working with realestate.com.au over the past four seasons and we’re thrilled that they have increased their commitment to our team,” Mr Harley said.
“Both organisations share a passion for creating unique experiences that Australians love — for us it’s on match days at our home at the SCG, while realestate.com.au is focused on helping connect Australians with their own home.
“It’s a significant consideration for our football club to feature a brand on our apparel. We believe realestate.com.au is a wonderful fit and we look forward to working together to continue delivering unique experiences for our 61,912 members and 1.2 million supporters.”
