Victorian real estate group Buxton has confirmed it has launched a new commercial and industrial division.
The new division will cover sales, leasing and asset management while leveraging the existing footprint of the residential offices to further strengthen that synergy.
It follows the introduction of a new project marketing division launched by the group, Projects by Buxton.
“We are a business that grows with people, and for us, a dedicated commercial offering was a missing piece in our overall strategy,” Buxton CEO Nathan Jones said of the move.
The new division will be led by industry specialist Kenny Oliver, who brings more than 15 years’ experience in commercial property sales and leasing.
“When the opportunity arose to develop this business and brand around Kenny, it was one we simply couldn’t pass up,” Mr Jones said.
Throughout his real estate career, Mr Oliver has worked both locally and abroad, conducting more than 500 commercial auctions around the world.
He will hit the ground running in his new head role, conducting his first auction as Buxton Commercial on 17 October for the newly listed 96-98 Bluff Road, Black Rock.
“Buxton is not just living off its well-earned reputation, it continues to invest heavily in a culture which is underpinned by people, training, marketing and technology,” Mr Oliver said.
“The customer-centric nature at Buxton is designed to benefit our clients in achieving their property goals.”
