Two agencies in the South Australian capital have merged under the LJ Hooker banner, to provide greater service and expertise to clients.
Adelaide agencies LJ Hooker West Lakes and Power Real Estate of Port Adelaide have merged under the LJ Hooker banner to create a nine-person real estate agency in the region.
Steve Moffat, formerly of Power Real Estate, has joined forces with LJ Hooker West Lakes directors Frank Azzollini and Josie Auricchio to operate under the LJ Hooker West Lakes banner.
Mr Azzollini commented that the opportunity to merge the two agencies allows the new team to provide greater service and expertise to their clients.
“We saw an opportunity to create a stronger agency and add value to our customers by merging our combined expertise,” he said.
“Growth was always on the table, but only if it made sense from a strategic and culture standpoint, and we found that Steve had built a similar company culture to ours with a tight-knit, family feel.
“We are really excited to have Steve onboard, and the newfound opportunities we’ll be delivering to our customers under the merger.”
LJ Hooker South Australia state director Andrew Friebe also commented on the opportunities provided by the merger in light of a changing market.
“LJ Hooker West Lakes is a great example of the enormous opportunity that consolidation can provide to businesses, as well as demonstrating the importance of understanding an evolving market,” Mr Friebe said.
“Many other South Australian businesses are considering the benefits of consolidation.
“Business is changing and it’s vital that we continue to scale and find efficiencies to future-proof our brand.”
