Franchise groups, networks and multi-office agencies can drive greater efficiencies across their rent rolls through a new feature released by Managed App.
Managed App is a property management platform that delivers a full suite of functionality for property managers, from maintenance workflow and a tradie marketplace to automated payments and a custom-built suite of digital paperless forms.
The new multi-office feature allows agencies to configure a network or franchise group with custom permissions and reports.
According to Thom Richards, Managed App director, this enables agencies to manage multiple offices, team members and permissions simultaneously, while supporting corporate users to view specific reports, business metrics, milestones and benchmarks.
“Greater oversight of the performance of property management across multiple offices gives real estate groups a huge advantage when it comes to maximising the efficiencies and ultimately the profitability of their rent roll,” he said.
“The new feature adds functionality that allows our networks, agency groups and multi-portfolio agencies to configure and customise their structure whilst still operating seamlessly together.
“This will encourage collaboration between portfolios, offices and networks by allowing team members to share visibility and activity within their workflows across multiple locations.”
Mr Richards said they can also set bespoke trading and banking information at an agency or portfolio level plus automate fees and referrals between portfolios, offices and/or franchise groups.
Managed was conceived by Thom Richards and created with co-founders Nick Bouris, Phil Tarrant and Alex Whitlock.
After selling his property management business four years ago, Mr Richards partnered with technology innovator Mr Bouris and Momentum Media founders Mr Tarrant and Mr Whitlock to create a property management platform that harnessed the latest payments technology built for a new era of property asset management.
Managed connects tenants, landlords, property managers and tradespeople via one platform accessible on desktop, mobile and tablet, across Android or iOS.
Tenants use the platform to pay rent and also lodge requests for maintenance and repairs with the knowledge that the landlord and property manager are immediately notified. The automated payment system also ensures that tradespeople are paid immediately, increasing competition for maintenance and repair work for tenanted property.
Landlords also have full visibility of how their real estate assets are being managed, with all critical information curated in one simple-to-access user interface.
