After six years operating under First National, Craig and Sharon Ireson have joined McGrath.
This is part of McGrath’s growth strategy to recruit influential area specialists.
As well as establishing a strong presence in Sydney’s Castle Cover region, the agency has also acquired its rent roll.
“It is consistent with our considered and prudent assessment of quality businesses with well-run property management assets that align with our current portfolios,” McGrath CEO Geoff Lucas said.
“We are thrilled to welcome such outstanding agents as Craig and Sharon into our sales division with a deep understanding of the dynamics driving that market.”
The duo has lived in their market for 22 years, and Mr Ireson believes house prices will continue to rise there.
“I’m seeing demand from families who want to upgrade yet be close to the CBD and in close proximity to Middle Harbour, often with great views and diversity in topography,” he said.
McGrath Willoughby’s John McManus recently joined the agency after selling his business to McGrath. He has noticed he has been able to spend more time focusing on selling and looking after clients.
“I believe this is key in today’s environment. Craig will have the same journey and experience,” Mr McManus said.
Mr and Ms Ireson are excited to renew their focus and leverage the McGrath brand.
“This decision has not been taken lightly, and we see this partnership with McGrath as a natural progression for our business which will allow us to focus more on our strengths in sales and property management,” Mr Ireson said.
