Agents and agencies in each area across Australia and New Zealand have been whittled down for the only awards based on customer satisfaction.

It is the fifth year RateMyAgent has held its Agent of the Year Awards, as it recognised agents and the agencies who deliver top-notch service across the industry.

The nominees are those who have been consistently recommended by local home sellers and landlords.

Winners of each category will be those who have the highest satisfaction rating in their region.

“We’ve had a record number of reviews posted last year, including one week when we had almost 5,000 reviews posted,” RateMyAgent CEO Mark Armstrong said.

This year, they have added two new categories, which are for the top property management agency and the top New Zealand agent and agency, the CEO said.

The categories include Agency Network of the Year, Property Management Agency of the Year, and New Zealand’s Agent of the Year and Agency of the Year.

Agents who have made the list in their areas include Brett Hayman from Hayman Partners, Reece Thompson from PRDnationwide Hunter Valley, Judy Truong from Real Estate Central and Coralie Reid from One Agency.

Although New Zealand is new to the awards this year, there is an active play from Tall Poppy Real Estate, which has five agencies in the run for best property sales.

The winners will be announced at a gala in Melbourne on 20 February.
