Real estate leaders travelled to Adelaide last week to uncap their knowledge to give Ouwens Casserly (OC) agents food for thought.

Each year, OC holds its annual Take Off Conference to inspire and teach agents how to grow their business while staying on the front foot of real estate.

To give inspiration, McGrath’s Alex Mintorn, Chadwick Real Estate’s Lynette Malcolm and Paralympian Katrina Webb were among those who spoke at the event.

“Providing our agents with the best real estate speakers in the country is something we are truly passionate about. Our industry is constantly growing and evolving, so staying current and ahead of the curve is what we really pride ourselves and our agents on,” OC managing director Alex Ouwens said.

One of the focus of the events is to have a diverse range of speakers, managing director Nathan Casserly said.

“Having such a broad range of skill sets and focuses within the topics covered is hugely important for us in order to provide our team with a rounded insight into all aspects of the real estate industry, from technical sales strategies to motivation and positive mindset and how to have all this in a cohesive, collaborative environment.”

The conference was held at Coopers Brewery in Adelaide, and the event intends to keep agents client-focused, Mr Casserly said.

“Having our agents motivated and excited about what a new year in the real estate world brings means our team is so much better equipped to achieve the best results possible for our valued clients,” he said.

They also highlight the benefits of stepping out of your comfort zone, and both Mr Ouwens and Mr Casserly highlight activities that show how they lead from the front.

This year, the two will abseil at Encounter Bay. In previous years, the duo had skydived, climbed the Adelaide Oval rooftop, swum with sharks in Port Lincoln and completed the Bend Motorsport Park Superbike Experience program.
