Josh Tesolin took out the top prize at the weekend as RateMyAgent’s agent of the year.

Agents from both sides of the Tasman gathered in Melbourne at the weekend for the industry’s only awards based on customer satisfaction.

The agents had entertainment from comedian Nick Cody, who MCed the event, and enjoyed the glitz and glamour of the evening.

Brisbane’s LJ Hooker Cleveland took out the Agency of the Year award, and Paul Chwyla of Morrison Kleeman Estate Agents and Marina Condic of Jas Stephens were both identified as Rising Stars in the industry.

“The Agent of the Year awards acknowledge agents in our industry who go above and beyond for Aussie home owners and landlords. With performance-based reviews as a qualifier, receiving an Agent of the Year award means to have received the highest satisfaction rating across the country — and this is something our winners should be tremendously proud of achieving,” RateMyAgent CEO and co-founder Mark Armstrong said.

“We congratulate and celebrate all of the 2020 winners and nominees, and look forward to another exciting year across our industry.”

This year marked the first time New Zealand agents and agencies had been included in the awards.

Wellington’s Tall Poppy Real Estate was named New Zealand’s Agency of the Year, and Harcourts Massey North’s Diego Traglia was singled out as New Zealand Agent of the Year.
