First National Real Estate agents from across South Australia and the Northern Territory gathered in Adelaide last week for its General Excellence and Marketing Awards.
The awards are designed to recongise top-performing agents throughout 2019, and the top 10 agents and offices will be pitted against others across the Australian network for the national awards in May.
Those who make the national agent and agencies top 10 lists will get a complimentary study tour to the National Association of REALTORS® conference happening in New Orleans later this year.
First National O’Donoghues in Darwin was recognised as the top office in the region, followed by First National Framptons in Alice Springs.
Both O’Donoghues and Framptons were recognised respectively for having the best property management departments.
Roger Tebeck from Framptons took out the award for best SA/NT Commercial Property Manager of the Year, and Karlie Ridley from First National Lewis Prior, in Warradale, SA, was recognised as SA/NT Residential Property Manager of the Year.
The top salesperson for the regions was Grant Fielke of First National Peoples’ Choice in Gawler, SA.
“Housing stock levels were lower throughout South Australia, whereas the Northern Territory remained consistent throughout 2019,” SA/NT state chair Andrew Doyle said.
“However, buyer demand was affected by the federal election and other economic factors, and turnover was significantly lower in some areas of the Northern Territory. In response, our members embraced industry-leading technologies and focused on professional development as a means to achieve consistently strong results.”
