Danielle Jobling has lived and breathed real estate since she left school, and now her daughters have followed her lead.
The RE/MAX Real Estate Services sales associate from Cairns has two daughters who have taken an interest in property.
“Teneille, my eldest daughter, began working after school when she was in years 11 and 12 for the real estate business I owned at the time,” Ms Jobling said.
“She then worked with me full-time for one year before moving to Brisbane and continuing her real estate career.”
The 22-year-old is now part of the RE/MAX Elevate in Tarragindi, where she is a sales administrator and property manager.
At the same time, she furthers her musical passion, and she is completing a bachelor of music majoring in piano.
Although Ms Jobling’s other daughter is still in school, Talitha, 16, has already begun her traineeship, as she sets herself up for a long career in real estate.
Both of Ms Jobling’s daughters have helped her with open homes and auctions since they were 15, she said.
The three recently travelled to Brisbane for the 2020 RE/MAX Annual Awards for the Bollywood-themed event.
“It was my first time at a real estate awards as a team member in my own right, rather than attending with Mum, which gave it a different dimension,” Teneille said.
“It was special because my sister was experiencing such an event for the first time.
“The energy in the room made it very exciting.”
Words of wisdom offered by RE/MAX founder Dave Linger resonated with the family.
“Fall in love with what you do, because if you’re in love with what you do, you never go to work,” Mr Linger said.
“I truly believe this because I live it,” Ms Jobling said.
“I got my real estate job after completing year 12, and this year marks my 29 years in real estate. Both of the girls are following in my footsteps, starting out young and thriving in the industry.
“Real estate is still running strong in my family, which I love.”
