Legacy drives Women in Real Estate conference

Leanne Pilkington NEW reb

“We’re asking attendees what they want to be remembered for and what they’re leaving behind,” REINSW president Leanne Pilkington said.

Legacy is the theme of this year’s Women in Real Estate (WIRE) event, which will take place in Sydney later this month.

The Real Estate Institute of New South Wales’ (REINSW) event is in its 14th year and will address gender imbalance, empowering women agents and the push towards industry-wide professionalism.

Ten speakers will address the event, including Saudi women’s rights activist Manal al-Sharif, Women with Cents founder Natasha Janssens and Aus Property Professionals associate Renee Edge.

“WIRE is a great way for real estate professionals, particularly women and male champions of change, to network and be inspired by our knowledgeable speakers who have years of experience, both in and out of real estate,” Ms Pilkington said.

Last year, more than 300 professionals attended the event, which offered informative sessions and networking opportunities.

This year’s event will be held on 24 March, and it is expected to be the most empowering women’s conference of the year.
