An Australian proptech offering has gained new market ground, having acquired sales training platform Real Estate Academy.
End-to-end real estate sales solution Realtair said its acquisition of Real Estate Academy places the company “at the forefront of progressive technology development and delivery in Australian real estate”.
It’s the culmination of a two-year collaboration between the brands, according to Realtair CEO and founder Peter Matthews, who said he had been working closely with Real Estate Academy’s Lee Woodward on the deal.
Mr Matthews said: “Lee and his team are experts at the onboarding, delivery and training of real estate technology.
“The Real Estate Academy sales training platform dovetails seamlessly with the entire Realtair sales process workflow of Pitch, sign, AuctionNow and Flow.”
As a result of the acquisition, the CEO said Realtair’s clients “will receive world-class service delivery when signing up for our solutions”.
In a LinkedIn post announcing the move, Mr Matthews said he was very proud to be involved with industry leaders “that in times like now, you want on your team”.
Mr Woodward has also expressed his team’s excitement at the alignment.
“To be the training, onboarding, digital team for Realtair is a whole new world for us; the technology is going globally and the Australian agents are so well regarded around the world,” he said.
“We’re ecstatic to be on board.”
