An experienced sales consultant and local resident will be stepping into the role of business owner with the opening of a new real estate offering in Hervey Bay.
Reece O’Brien will be taking the plunge as he spearheads the region’s newest RE/MAX franchise.
“It’s a great time for me and my family as I take the opportunity to become the new broker owner for RE/MAX in Hervey Bay after many years of building my business and brand under the RE/MAX banner,” he said.
“I do this with the backing of many family members, friends and real estate customers, and with the tremendous support of the RE/MAX Australia network.”
Joining his team, and continuing their own careers with the RE/MAX brand, will be father-daughter duo Stephen and Laura Wright and Amanda Batchelor.
The new-look team is operating through RE/MAX U — the network’s agent-focused framework that helps agents transition into business ownership while continuing their roles in real estate until the new office opens.
According to RE/MAX Australia’s Dean Tucker, “the heart and soul of RE/MAX in Hervey Bay is alive and well with four very experienced and professional agents on the team”.
“When Adam Kratzmann decided to take a new business direction, there were agents on his RE/MAX team who wanted to stay RE/MAX,” Mr Tucker explained.
“We were excited to welcome Reece to the role of franchise owner and continue the growth of RE/MAX throughout this region.
“We look forward to seeing the brand continue to grow from strength to strength.”
It’s been five years since Mr O’Brien began his Hervey Bay RE/MAX career, but the present challenges aren’t dampening his enthusiasm for the future.
“I am aware we are navigating the uncharted territories and unprecedented challenges that are playing out in front of our community and our industry every day,” Mr O’Brien said.
“But be assured that it is business as usual at RE/MAX in Hervey Bay with the same highest possible level of service and results we’re known for.”
