Propic has updated its artificial intelligence capabilities to help real estate agencies manage challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement to the media, Propic has confirmed its AI technology, Enliven AI, has now been trained to answer a number of different questions about the coronavirus.

“Conversations range from how to stay safe and avoid infection, how the agency is putting the safety of their staff and customers first, changes to how inspections and auctions are being handled through to handling new appraisal requests and buyer enquiries,” the statement said.

“We will also be continually modifying the conversations as updates happen, such as further restrictions or government stimulus packages to support renters.”

The statement continued: “Propic is supporting the industry by giving away this AI solution without charge for as long as the pandemic continues, to any agency that wants to deploy it to their website, no matter how large or small.

“With next to zero developer effort on the client side required, an agency can have this technology deployed to their website within five minutes by their web developer once the Propic team have set up the instance.”

The move by Propic comes as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact the real estate industry.

By introducing this new function, Propic seeks to help agencies through this challenging time so they can continue to service their customers online, in real-time without straining the resources they have”.

“The AI at its core is built to work with customers online to capture requests for new appraisals, new landlords and existing customers, but knowing the time-saving benefits technology like this can offer, it made perfect sense for us to add the COVID-19 conversations and offer this for free to support the industry we work in,” said Fatek Chamma, head of customer experience.
