A new learning series has been rolled out which aims to upskill real estate agents in navigating the “new normal”.

RateMyAgent has launched the two new educational platforms — the Espresso Series and the Property Banter — created in response to recent industry challenges. Both are hosted via RateMyAgent’s Zoom account.

The Espresso Series, which goes live at 2pm AEST Wednesdays, hosted by RateMyAgent CEO and co-founder Mark Armstrong, looks to help agents learn new practical skills in a short, sharp approach so they can thrive in an ever-changing environment.

According to a statement provided by RateMyAgent, the 15-minute sessions encourage agents to learn a new skill each week, with topics including embracing new technologies, building relationships while physical distancing, building a personal brand and keeping employees engaged during COVID-19 and beyond.

Meanwhile, the Property Banter series, taking place at 4pm AEST Fridays, sees co-hosts Mark Armstrong and Russell Cambridge, Biggin & Scott’s director and auctioneer, “give agents an outlet to release and wind down”.

The 30-minute live stream will see the pair joined by industry professionals including real estate agent, coach and speaker Lisa B., RateMyAgent Australian Agent of the Year 2020 Josh Tesolin and leadership and mindset specialist Tanja Lee.

“Australia’s entire property industry, and the great agents that comprise it, is being confronted daily with challenges to many facets of business and ways of working,” said RateMyAgent CEO and co-founder Mark Armstrong.

“While the series will bring a short burst of entertainment to agents’ working weeks, it’s the educational component we’re most excited about. We hope the insights shared and guests who join us will give agents the insights and tools to adapt, stay ‘undisruptable’ and build their relationships and trust with consumers, to go on and see their businesses thrive.”
