First National has returned to Western Sydney’s CBD with an all-new operator and the belief the new business model holds “a unique competitive edge”.

Keshava Prati will be running the all-new First National Real Estate Parramatta City office.

Not only will the new agency offer property services, Mr Prati said it will also offer an immigration advisory service to people who are moving to Australia, helping them both to understand government processes and assist them with renting or buying their first home.

The owner has touted Parramatta’s geographically central location as making it “the perfect place to settle, find employment and put down roots in a new country”.

He said: “Multicultural Parramatta has a buzzing commercial area, offers lifestyle, employment and has a thriving arts and culture scene.

“The ABC’s recent announcement that it will relocate 300 Ultimo staff to Parramatta is yet another sign of Western Sydney’s economic trajectory.”

First National Real Estate Parramatta City is certainly not Mr Prati’s first foray into business — and he’s already gearing up for growth.

He outlined: “I have ambitious growth plans and First National Real Estate is the only brand that doesn’t charge a fee on property management income, won’t charge me more as my turnover grows, and any branches I open beyond my second office attract no fees at all.”

Calling out the co-operative brand’s “exceptionally competitive fee model”, he went so far as to consider Australia’s franchise options as looking “inflexible and expensive”.

Mr Prati is just one example of “the acceleration of interest in First National membership”, according to the network’s chief executive, Ray Ellis, who last week travelled to Sydney to attend the official opening of First National Real Estate Parramatta City.
