Place Estate Agents is opening a new office — in what’s been described as a “natural progression” for the brand.
Place Gumdale, which is set to become a flagship Place office in its servicing of Brisbane’s eastern suburbs, will be helmed by experienced sales agent Glenn Bool.
It means Mr Bool will be transitioning to the role of principal from his sales role at Place Bulimba.
As Gumdale plays catch-up with its popular neighbours Bulimba and New Farm, he’s the one who considers the new office “a natural progression” for the brand.
“Gumdale and the surrounding suburbs have some of the best living you will find in Brisbane. It’s located essentially halfway between the CBD and Moreton Bay, has some of Brisbane’s best schools, shopping and transport at its doorstep,” he said.
“We are finding the market is just starting to recognise the lifestyle on offer here and the value is outstanding.”
Located at East Side Village, the new office will be right “in the heart of Gumdale”, with services focused on offerings that are becoming increasingly popular across Brisbane, including bayside homes acreage and other lifestyle options.
Place Estate Agents CEO Damian Hackett shared his excitement over the brand’s expansion, highlighting the new office’s potential to maximise client opportunities: “The eastern suburbs have seen a price growth of 20 per cent in six months — this new office fills the gap between our high-performing offices in Bulimba.”
Joint managing director Paul Curtain, who mentored Mr Bool, has also expressed his support for the new principal and his team.
“Glenn is an accomplished real estate agent, who also has the ability to lead and mentor people — it’s the perfect storm for a successful team,” Mr Curtain said.

Place Gumdale will operate under Place’s Professional Services Model.
