RE/MAX Advantage owner Travis Gill is now the sole owner of the real estate business based in the coastal suburb of Wynnum in Queensland.

Having made the decision to renew the franchise is reportedly the first step in his plans to position the business at the “forefront of innovation, client engagement and the use of technology to benefit customers and agents”.

“RE/MAX Advantage is a business of businesses and, as such, we cater for sales businesses of all sizes and stages, offering services to the agents that allow for their continued growth and success,” Mr Gill said.

“We intend to keep evolving to meet the market and ensure that we remain pioneers in this dynamic and fluid industry.”

Since 2000, Mr Gill has worked with his team to build out the business, with RE/MAX consistently ranking the agency among the network’s top three Australian offices.

Team members include Todd Gerhardt and Tamara Hall — who ranked 12th and and 22nd, respectively, in Q1 2021 for the RE/MAX network globally — and veterans Cameron Bastow, Jan Mahon and Trish Breen, who have been with the business for two decades.

RE/MAX Australia managing director Joel Davoren has expressed his support for the renewal of the Wynnum-based business with the network for a third decade.

“We are truly excited by the progressive new ideas and trajectory Travis has plotted for the business as he begins the relaunch of RE/MAX Advantage in an ever-changing real estate industry, with a new breed of customers and agents in focus,” Mr Davoren said.

Looking ahead, Mr Gill aims to strike a balance between “good, old-fashioned service” and technological advancements to improve their offerings in the growing Queensland market.

The business owner has also highlighted plans to continue adding “exciting dimensions to doing real estate business” through evolving resources and tools — building on the strategy he credits with contributing to the longevity of his business and the loyalty of his team.

“This is a very exciting time in our industry where good, old-fashioned service is still relevant and paramount. But paired with the advancements in technology and industry transparency, [I believe] we, as agents, can be even more effective with communications and professional services,” he said.

Having spent years working on processes and support for the “remote agent” model, Mr Gill added “we are very proud of how efficiently sales agents can now plug their business into our model and receive complete support, freeing them up to do what they do best: list and sell homes”.
