REB is launching new state-based rankings — and we want you to be involved!

In an effort to better identify the leading agents operating across Australia, REB is pleased to reveal five, new state-based rankings, which are now inviting submissions from professionals working across New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia and South Australia.

REB, in partnership with Propps, will be recognising the Top 50 Agents across those five states in August.

The new initiative comes at a time when property markets Australia-wide have not been stronger, with the ranking aiming to empower more agents to win more listings — as well as get the recognition they deserve.

Agents will be asked to submit figures from their settled residential sales across 2020 and will be ranked according to specific metrics including dollar volumes, number of properties sold and average sales price.

The agents who come out on top will be recognised for their outstanding achievement in the exclusive REB ranking, alongside a personalised certificate, seal and press release for exposure.

According to REB news editor Grace Ormsby, the new Top 50 Agents per state rankings will reveal the agents who are the frontrunners in their respective regions, shining a light on Australia’s top performers.

“This is an unprecedented growth period for Australian real estate, so it seems only fitting that those who are leading the charge forward be recognised for their success — especially given the challenges faced by the entire profession at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020,” she commented.

“To anyone who has contemplated putting themselves forward for an REB ranking but never taken the plunge, this is your time to shine!”

For Propps, the motivation to partner with REB on the state-based rankings comes down to a “strong alignment with REB in supporting the very best, innovative agents and thought leaders within the industry”.

Acknowledging the ability of state-based rankings to put the achievements of Australia’s top performing agents into very relevant localised context, company founder and CEO Daniel Bignold commented: “Propps are a passionate and proud partner of the real estate industry and of REB and we are thrilled to be supporting such an exciting, awards program.”

“We wish all entrants the very best of luck!" he concluded.
