A new Sunbury agency will draw on a combined six decades of experience as Ray White expands its reach across Melbourne and surrounds.

John Saurini, Marin Durkovic and Aaron Hill are making the move into business ownership as the leaders of Ray White Sunbury.

Boasting 10 to 30 years of experience each across sales, property management and business development, the trio have previously specialised in different regions across Melbourne.

“Aaron and Marin have worked together for eight years, and I was thrilled when they decided to branch into the Sunbury region and partner with me in this opportunity,” Mr Saurini said.

Together, the trio are bringing together eight team members to run the new office.

“We are proud to be backed by a fantastic team who are full of local area knowledge and experience,” Mr Durkovic expressed.

“Providing exceptional service to our customers will be our primary aim, and market share will be a huge goal for us, as well as building an even stronger rent roll. We want to become the go-to professionals for property advice, for everyone in this community.”

Looking ahead, Mr Saurini, Mr Durkovic and Mr Hill are looking to leverage on the growing demand in Sunbury.

Located just 35 minutes from the Melbourne CBD, the “country town” known for its historic roots and the oldest homestead in Victoria now serves as a centrepoint for servicing surrounding communities, supported by its proximity to the airport and a convenient metro line to the city.

The infrastructure, along with the relaxed country lifestyle, contributes to the growing appeal of Sunbury, especially as buyer preference shifts towards finding a balance between city and lifestyle options, Mr Saurini said.

“When I was born here, there were 2,500 people. The town now has a population of 45,000, and is set to double again within 15 years,” he said.

“The region is going to experience incredible growth over the coming years, with housing and community developments popping up everywhere. Eighty per cent of our buyers at the moment are families relocating away from the city to Sunbury.”

Mr Hill added: “The attraction is the lovely community with good family values, and we can support those who want that dream.”

Ray White Victoria and Tasmania CEO Stephen Dullens has thrown his support behind the new agency, stating: “We are incredibly excited that John, Aaron and Marin and the entire team are joining the Ray White family. John is well established within the community, and Aaron and Marin are market leaders, and we know that we will achieve great things together for the Sunbury community.

“We look forward to supporting them as they continue to provide the best possible service to their customers.”
