The former company director and the GM of a real estate marketing company have been placed on good behaviour bonds after pleading guilty to breaching their duties as directors.
David Ross was the former company director of real estate photography and marketing business Image-Ination, while Wade Steel was formerly the general manager of the operation.
According to a statement from ASIC, “they used their respective positions at Image-Ination to recklessly gain an advantage for themselves or cause detriment to the company”.
Both pleaded guilty and were convicted after ASIC referred the pair to the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
ASIC indicated that both men were sentenced at the Downing Centre Local Court in NSW earlier this week, on 7 September 2021.
Mr Ross was convicted on the condition that he be of good behaviour for a period of three years and pay a $2,000 pecuniary penalty within 12 months. Mr Steel was convicted on the condition that he be of good behaviour for a period of three years.
