As it looks to expand the network further and better support its members, Professionals Group Australia has revealed a number of new appointments at the executive level.
A member services specialist, a digital marketing co-ordinator, and business development specialists across Queensland and Western Australia are now set to bolster the brand.
According to Professionals chief executive David Crombie, the network’s growth during the current real estate boom has highlighted the attractiveness of the brand.
“The four appointments show the group’s commitment to further growing the demand and meeting the needs of its members,” he stated.
Martina Conti will be moving into the digital marketing role after her stint with both international publishing giant Random House and consumer goods business Johnson and Johnson.
Professionals has reported that Ms Conti will be “working closely” with all offices across the network – to educate them on best practice across social media, Google My Business, websites, and assisting with digital platform management.
From her perspective, “real estate is a very interesting industry because you are selling lifestyles, aspirations and dreams”.
She said a lot of agents are very active on digital media, “but it is not about quantity, but rather it should be about quality”.
“You have to ensure consistency with your branding, and similarly, the messaging has to be spot on.”
Ms Conti considered, “it’s exciting to [be] a part of it all, and with the tools that we are using, we are showing agencies how to track potential buyers online and track the movements of the target market down through the sales funnel”.
Lauren Kelly has also been announced as taking on the role of member services specialist.
Based in Brisbane, Ms Kelly will be looking after member queries from across the country and has expressed her love for the industry, stating that “every day is different”.
In the new business development positions, the Professionals has appointed Vanessa Notarangelo in Western Australia and Bill Woodard in Queensland.
Ms Notarangelo started her career in recruitment before moving into real estate nearly a decade ago and has since worked in sales roles for agencies, developers and builders.
Mr Woodward spent 12 years with a rival agency before making the move across to Professionals.
He indicated that agencies have experienced a major change in the market during the past 18 months and that now, their biggest challenge is being able to find stock to sell.
“Most owner-occupiers are holding onto their properties, so we will be providing agencies and the support and marketing expertise to help them identify and develop potential sellers in the market.”
