Just months after opening, a network’s Epping office has struck a deal with a local real estate team to merge into an expanded operation.
WigginsKeenan Real Estate directors Liz Wiggins and Justin Keenan said they were approached by numerous networks interested in taking their team on before the duo settled on joining up with Stone Real Estate, who opened an Epping office in June under the leadership of Kevin Dearlove.
“It came down to the relationship with the owners of Stone Epping, Beecroft and Castle Hill that we have had over the past 10 years,” Mr Keenan and Ms Wiggins said of the decision to join forces with Stone. It’s Mr Dearlove who also runs the network’s Beecroft and Castle Hill outposts.
“They share the same values and ethics, and for the team at Wiggins Keenan, that was one of the most important aspects of their business – besides the fact that we have also loved the brand and the support it provides to their agents as well as their clients,” they added.
Mr Dearlove expressed his anticipation of seeing what the team could do with the added talent and manpower.
“We are very excited to partner with Justin and Liz. They are a great fit for our culture, highly regarded, and they bring a wealth of experience to an already powerful Stone Epping team,” he said.
“With three offices in the region, Stone Real Estate is well-positioned to increase market share in Sydney’s thriving north-west corridor, and we’re delighted to be able to help locals and those looking to move to the area on their property journeys.”
Stone Real Estate’s head of franchise, Luke Cameron, commended Mr Dearlove’s hard work in growing a business that formed an attractive proposition for the industry merger.
“We are incredibly proud of the continued expansion of Kevin’s business, and this merger is a true testament to his leadership and passion,” said Mr Cameron.
“Liz and Justin are some of the best in the business, and their addition to the Stone team will only continue to grow the high-performance culture Kevin has built at Stone Epping.”
