A new real estate player has entered the western Gold Coast landscape, with businessman Mushood Chothia opening an office in Carrara.
Joining forces with Ray White, Mr Chothia is assisted in the venture by his wife, Adeelah Chothia, who will serve as office administrator.
Mr Chothia cited the brand’s family values as a motivating factor for choosing to partner with the network.
“Ray White is a very family orientated business and has made me feel at home,” he said.
“Not only do their values align with mine, but the leading agency also offers superior support and training along with a wide reaching brand recognition.”
Already having an understanding of what motivates family buyers will be an asset to Mr Chothia in working in Carrara and its surrounds.
“In the area there are a lot of family homes and developments that are only a few years old. There’s also a mix of age groups as well as the man-made waterfront development along the Nerang River,” he said.
But naturally, with growth in his sights, Mr Chothia said his immediate aim is for his team to become specialists in all segments of the local market.
“My ambition is to grow our sales and property management teams to best serve the local community,” he said.
To do that, he intends to put his previous experience as a business leader in the area to good use. Mr Chothia, who originally hails from South Africa, has been operating in the western Gold Coast region for more than three decades, so he brings both a network of connections to his new venture and a tried and tested model for business success.
“I value integrity, good quality service and believe in treating people as if they are family,” he said.
“The most important thing is to be fair with the customer. People are always looking for good service and salespeople who follow up and return on what they promise.”
