An industry veteran with 20 years of experience in mentoring and coaching has teamed up with Harcourts as head of training.
Ty Read joins the company under the brand’s director of people and culture, Bevan Gibbs, with a focus on providing educational initiatives across their offices.
Mr Read has developed and facilitated a number of training programs for some of the country’s biggest franchises over the course of his career, through both his independent coaching business as well as previous roles where he was united with a brand.
He worked in both sales and career development at LJ Hooker and spent several years as a sales partner at boutique South Australian firm Toop & Toop.
Most recently, he was running a career development practice, focusing on personal and behavioural coaching for real estate professionals.
Harcourts International chief executive Steve Caradoc-Davies said he was certain Harcourts’ teams would be provided with the very best learning and educational opportunities, with Mr Read heading up what he described as “a business-critical part of our value offering”.
“Ty has a unique approach to growth with proven results. We are excited to unite his extensive real estate expertise with the Harcourts Way learning programs to continue to spearhead our growth and elevate our brand to set a new industry benchmark as the franchise of choice,” Mr Caradoc-Davies said.
