One Brisbane-based agent is hoping to net some big results in only the first month of 2022, with 15 properties set to hit the block over the course of the last weekend of January.
Rochelle Adgo and her team at Harcourts Solutions Queensland will be selling a range of properties in Brisbane’s north on 29 and 30 January.
Ms Adgo said she decided to schedule the eventful weekend to make the most of buyers who were looking to lock in home purchases early in the year.
“Statistics show us that January is the best time, in terms of traffic, for resources like realestate.com.au and other real estate portals,” Ms Adgo noted.
“And with borders opening up, people looking to relocate, now is the perfect time for sellers to be putting their property on the market to capture those buyers who are looking for a sea change.”
She said buyers had learned from 2021 when competition seemed only to grow as the months progressed, and were now looking to get in early.
“Last year was a challenge for us all, not only in life but also for many buyers who missed out in 2021 due to low stock in the market,” she said.
She anticipates those shoppers to be out in force this weekend.
Harcourts’ head of auctions, Christian Hamilton, said that Ms Adgo had taken on an “unprecedented” task with the number of sales slated to go ahead.
“Offices/agencies conduct super auction weekends, but I have never seen an agent individually hold 15 auctions across one weekend. This is a testament to Rochelle and her team’s ability to provide world class service and results to more clients,” Mr Hamilton said.
Ms Adgo may have already set a lofty goal in trying to carry off that many events over the course of just two days, but her ambitions don’t stop there. She’s also hoping to start off the year with a 100 per cent sell rate.
“We are confident that this weekend will bring many successes, not only in selling our properties but working together as a team and a brand to help people realise their property dreams,” Ms Adgo said.
