The network is looking to bolster its market share with the help of five new offices across the eastern seaboard.

The new outposts are all set to open before the first quarter of 2022 is out, with RE/MAX Australia managing director Joel Davoren considering it as “a very strong start to the year on all counts”.

In February, the network will first be opening an office in Ningi in Queensland’s Moreton Bay, while two other areas in the state are also anticipating their own RE/MAX offerings: The City of Logan’s Flagstone and southside Brisbane’s Upper Mount Gravatt.

NSW will see a new RE/MAX office opening in Sydney’s Epping area, while Victoria’s Metung, located in East Gippsland, will also benefit from the network’s presence.

The new office announcement coincides with a “solid” increase in agent numbers across the month of January, according to Mr Davoren.

“We have more than 20 experienced real estate and business professionals talking with us seriously right now about opening RE/MAX offices across at least three states,” he said.

He expects this to grow the network “considerably through the first half of 2022 and help us continue to grow RE/MAX market share”.

Professing that “there is a great deal of positivity throughout the network – in business owners, agents and their customers”, Mr Davoren concluded by acknowledging that there’s “no doubt” 2022 would throw its own challenges to the profession.

“But there’s no indication at the moment that it’s going to be a quiet one for real estate,” he said.
