Having recently made his mark on the industry as a trainer and tech investor, this sales agent’s former network has now created him a new role at the top.

Danny Grant returns to McGrath after more than 12 years, taking up the role of head of performance and innovation for the group.

Having found success as a founding shareholder in Realtair, a co-principal of Ray White Lower North Shore and co-principal of Province in the intervening time since his stint as a sales agent for McGrath Lower North Shore, Mr Grant comes to the role with experience across property management, residential sales, franchise ownership, mentoring and investing.

John McGrath, founder and executive director of McGrath, said that welcoming Mr Grant back to the network was “extremely pleasing, after having carved out a very successful career as a sales agent, innovator, trainer and tech investor”.

“Technology is in his DNA and Danny has been very effective in combining traditional real estate practice with best of breed technology applications. So to have him join in a newly created role to focus on performance, growth and innovation I believe will give our agents a huge advantage in not only increasing their productivity, but also at a transactional level,” Mr McGrath said.

Chris Mourd, head of franchise for McGrath, explained that Mr Grant’s appointment aligned with the brand’s focus on talent growth and performance in the year ahead.

“We are fully committed to providing our team with the best possible training and mentoring programs while also rolling out enhanced innovative tools to increase agent productivity across the group,” Mr Mourd said.

“Danny has a single minded focus in providing the necessary tools and skills for agents to deliver better outcomes. This will centre on higher levels of performance and efficiencies in order to achieve maximum results.”

Mr Grant said he was motivated to return to the company after seeing how it intended to raise the bar for innovation, customer experience and agent performance.

“Both John and Chris have clearly demonstrated to me a real desire to support the agent network, encourage career progression and provide the tools to increase their productivity and be the world’s best. That is a real foundation of their business structure. It is a nice moment for me to be part of that and to contribute to that belief,” he said.

Mr Grant noted his initial focus was on ensuring there was alignment across the network in terms of training, sales process and agent marketing.

“McGrath continues to experience a growth trajectory; continuity and innovation is important to all agents, so they can focus on their clients and transacting property,” he said.
