Laura Raneri and her team have been revealed as joining the fast-growing Sydney business.

According to Badgerfox group managing director Marco Fabrizio, it was a “strategic move” to bring her into the business, admitting he’d been “planning to switch Laura across for more than three years”.

“Whenever I drove around Georges Hall, all I would see was her signboard everywhere. I remember looking in the ‘sold’ section and she took up 80 per cent of the page,” he told REB.

“It really was a no brainer for me to reach out,” he said.

“I just waited for the right time – and when preparation meets opportunity it wins every time.”

Describing Ms Raneri as a “fantastic agent”, Mr Fabrizio said he’s “excited to help her grow into a principal role”.

The managing director added: “Laura could [have] opened her own office yesterday but we are just waiting for the right space.”

Bringing across her team of four, Ms Raneri said she saw the opportunity to “join forces and go into business with a clean brand that has already achieved growth and success in its early years”.

She added that she had found a location for a new office already, with the intention of opening her own office within the next 12 months; for now, she’ll be running out of the Padstow office.

Mr Fabrizio commented that “Laura has space at the moment to take her team from four to eight within the next 12 months – then she will step into a principal role, owning her own office in partnership with Badgerfox Projects – the founding entity”.

With another office under construction and one other set to commence its fit-out next month, Mr Fabrizio said that “it’s exciting to see it all come together”.

Having started with just three team members, the managing director said that the team is on target to have 100 agents working with the brand by the middle of 2022.
