The platform is a one-stop shop for property buyers and tenants looking to connect their utilities and arrange for services like internet, phone, cleaning, removalists and truck hire.
Raine & Horne has developed the platform with Direct Connect to offer a tailored version of the latter’s services exclusively to their customers.
Angus Raine, executive chairman Raine & Horne, said the decision to launch Raine & Horne Connect came from a desire to provide an in-house source for movers tackling the complicated task of setting up their new home.
“We are always seeking new ways to improve the customer experience. We also know that time-poor buyers and tenants don’t want to feel like they are being passed onto a third party,” he said.
“With Raine & Horne Connect, we can provide a seamless connection service that can help homebuyers and tenants take back some of their valuable time.”
David Holman, chief executive of Direct Connect, explained that the platform has a Direct Connect engine but a Raine & Horne-branded skin.
“All the communications, emails, and branding will be Raine & Horne Connect but powered by our service,” he said.
And Mr Holman noted how the partnership would extend his company’s reach.
“We’ve had a successful relationship working with Raine & Horne offices and their clients for over a decade. By providing this exclusive support, we will be able to extend our services not only to more tenants but owner-occupiers buying properties through the group.
“For agents, Raine & Horne Connect will deliver additional referrals as more clients will feel comfortable saying yes to a Raine & Horne product,” Mr Holman said.
Randolph Clements, managing director of Raine & Horne Victoria, said he expected it would also improve the network’s net promoter score in his state.
“All our clients have to do is tick a box to send their request for support through to the team at Raine & Horne Connect. The new service will be a gamechanger for our tenants and homebuyers,” he said.
