The sales and recruitment specialist has hitched her wagon to a North Sydney real estate office known for thinking outside the box.

Marnie Beauchamp, a finalist for coach of the year at REB’s 2021 Women in Real Estate Awards, will now be making her mark on the team and customers of Laing+Simmons Young Property, based at Careel Bay Marina in Avalon.

The outfit has become familiar to the community not only for their real estate service to the surrounding area but also for the community art space they run out of their office.

It was this community-centric approach that motivated Ms Beauchamp to come on board.

“[This] aligns with how I’ve always worked and I’m looking forward to creating new connections and building relationships in a market where there’s a real opportunity to carve out a niche and offer something different,” Ms Beauchamp said.

“With the community-minded ethos and sustainability principles of our office, combined with our ability to do things differently such as offering inspections by boat, we’re committed to providing a new and enhanced service to the local market,” she added of her new workplace.

Amy Young, Laing+Simmons Young Property’s co-principal, called the recruitment “a coup for the business”.

“Marnie’s experience is extensive, her ability to get results is proven and the energy, knowledge and perspective she brings to our business gives us a distinct strategic advantage as we sharpen our focus on the prestige Palm Beach market in the months and years ahead,” Ms Young said.

Laing+Simmons chief executive Leanne Pilkington said she had every confidence in Ms Beauchamp’s ability to log impressive results in Avalon.

“She has helped drive improved results and performance from businesses and agents across the industry and this is true of the work she’s done with members of the Laing+Simmons family over the years. We are very excited for her to join the brand with one of our leading local teams,” Ms Pilkington said.
