Armed with decades of experience in the luxury and prestige niche, the former part-owner of Ray White Buderim has made the big leap to The Agency.

Dan Smith aligns with the network in Buderim, where he looks forward to being “at the coalface” of The Agency as it expands its national footprint.

He also serves the Buderim community as president of Mons Progress Association and as a fundraiser of Buderim Mountain State School, which the group has flagged as evidence of his concern and deep involvement in the region.

Even with Mr Smith’s prominence in the industry and community, he never tires of seeking ways to better serve his clients in the Sunshine Coast.

He reports that this is exactly the reason behind his move to The Agency – the opportunity to tailor fit campaigns based on clients’ needs and schedules as well as the network’s “strong links to the Sydney and Melbourne prestige markets”.

“Sellers of higher-end properties tend to appreciate the sharpness of marketing and the brand presence, but also the flexibility of being able to design campaigns to suit them and their unique properties,” Mr Smith said.

The move reunites him with the former Ray White Bulimba owner David Price, who is currently The Agency Queensland general manager.

Commenting about Mr Smith’s decision to join The Agency, Mr Price said: “He is a wonderful family man with an outstanding reputation. Dan represents what our brand is all about; the best people and top-quality performers at the top of their game.”

Mr Smith’s move comes at an opportune time when The Agency is fortifying its presence in the Sunshine Coast.

“The buyer appetite for Sunshine Coast real estate is one of the key factors driving our strategic move to the area, spearheaded by prominent and high-calibre agent Dan Smith,” explained The Agency chief executive and managing director Geoff Lucas.

“The region of Buderim represents a healthy real estate market with the unique and sought-after combination of urban amenities and a relaxed regional lifestyle.”

Mr Lucas has predicted this upward trend will undoubtedly continue as interstate migrants seek out the area’s great quality of life.

The Agency CEO Matt Lahood concurred with Mr Lucas and stated: “Dan joins The Agency with significant momentum, having already built a strong pipeline of high-quality listings. I’m looking forward to seeing Dan grow his operation and continue to go from strength to strength.”
