A local Strathalbyn real estate office and rural sales division are changing hands, transferring to managers who know the South Australian business well.
Raine & Horne Strathalbyn and the local Raine & Horne Rural office will now be led by the management team of Brendan Saunders, Nick Grosvenor, and rural property sales specialist Paul Clifford.
The trio take over the offices from former principals Sally Ness and Gary Dawe, who will stay on board.
Mr Grosvenor, in particular, is familiar with the business from top to bottom, having joined the agency’s administrative team in 2005 before transitioning to sales. Mr Saunders has also been with the outfit for a number of years, while Mr Clifford joined in 2021.
Mr Grosvenor topped Raine & Horne’s list for the highest number of sales and commissions in South Australia in 2019 and ranked among the group’s top 10 agents for the number of sales nationally.
James Trimble, Raine & Horne’s general manager, said the group were well equipped to take the reins.
“Combine Nick’s award-winning ways with Brendan’s seven years in the industry and Paul’s 17 years of combined rural and lifestyle sales in SA, and it’s clear as day that vendors, buyers, tenants and landlords are in safe hands,” he said.
He noted that they were fortunate to retain the expertise of the business’s former owners.
“Gary and Sally have built a tremendous business and Brendan, Nick and Paul are taking over an operation that is in a healthy condition.
“The decision by Gary and Sally to stay on in the business confirms their commitment to the strategic direction and new management team,” he said.
After 17 years running the enterprise, Ms Ness and Mr Dawe will now focus their efforts on residential and lifestyle sales.
Mr Clifford said the trio had big plans for the year ahead, including living up to the example set by the former principals.
“Sally and Gary have set up an excellent business, and we know we have big boots to fill, and we have plans to grow the business,” Mr Clifford said.
“Now that we’re through the holiday season, it appears that 2022 will be very strong given the numbers of buyers looking for residential property in the Strathalbyn and surrounding regions and the wider rural markets,” he added.
