Australia has come out as the top-performing country for RE/MAX within the global network’s Asia-Pacific region.
And among the countries where the global network boasts up to 1,000 agents, Australia took out the first place prize.
It also ranked as a finalist for region of the year among major markets like Argentina, South Africa and Portugal.
Ultimately, the megabrand’s best regional achiever of the 115 countries and territories it operates in came down to a tie between Argentina and South Africa.
RE/MAX Australia managing director Joel Davoren called the honours “no small accomplishment” and one that every Australian RE/MAX professional should be collectively proud of.
He noted, however, that the network’s Australian arm was soon looking to surpass their recent success.
“We are still evolving and growing, and we have only just scratched the surface of what our team can truly achieve. This is a great acknowledgement of all the many individual and team efforts.
“Our plans to double the size of this business are ambitious but 100 per cent achievable. This is a great start to what will be a huge year for us all,” Mr Davoren said.
Australian RE/MAX franchises were also honoured during the convention’s awards, which took place in Las Vegas, with a number of high achievements.
RE/MAX Success of Toowoomba, led by Melita Bell Team, nabbed the award for top global residential and top worldwide residential small team based on transactions.
They also took out the number three spot in global residential small teams based on commissions.
Meanwhile, RE/MAX Property Sales of Nambour ranked first in the global largest net gain for sales associates in a small market.
