Nicholas Given, together with fellow entrepreneurs Matt Lancashire and Haesley Cush of the Ray White New Farm group, has taken the reins of the Ray White Clayfield office.

Mr Given described his homecoming as nostalgic – a compelling reason that has influenced his decision to grab the opportunity of co-founding a business in his hometown.

“I am the third-generation of my family in the Clayfield, Hamilton and Ascot community, so we are thrilled to be servicing the real estate needs of the people who we already know and love,” Mr Given said.

Having spent more than a decade in sales and as associate of Mr Lancashire at Ray White New Farm, Mr Given revealed that his passion for the industry has always brought him towards his home turf.

“Throughout my real estate career, I have always specialised and gravitated towards these inner northern suburbs that I know inside out,” he said.

As a father of two, he touted the river city suburb’s appeal to families looking for a place to call home: “Clayfield is a wonderful place to raise a family, standing shoulder to the blue-chip Ascot and Hamilton, but also being the gateway to the well established homes in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.”

Mr Given believes he has a “key point of difference” to offer the Clayfield community: “I take absolute pride in every property I market, whether it is a small studio apartment or the most expensive home in Brisbane, I won’t leave a stone unturned.”

Mr Cush, his co-owner, has expressed his confidence in Mr Given and their new venture.

“We genuinely believe that we can go further together when we are in partnership with the right people. Nicholas has been a key part of the success of Ray White New Farm, and this new position is a natural progression for him,” Mr Cush said.

The long-time colleagues will be joined by their current team, which includes administrator Tiarna Fitzgerald, associate Beau Broomfield, and agents Claudia Rocha and Penny Halliwell.

Ray White Queensland chief executive Jason Andrew expressed his pride in the Clayfield expansion as well as the growth of Nicholas, Haesley, and Matt.

“The next iteration of their business sees them entering into partnerships with proven performers, which Nicholas Given most definitely embodies. The relationship will benefit consumers in the thriving inner north of Brisbane,” the CEO said.
