Fresh off a recent expansion into an upgraded office, a Brisbane agency is adding to its roster.

LJ Hooker Property Centre has recruited Stephanie Marshall to the Bayside business, nabbing an agent with deep local ties, as she was born and bred in the city’s outer east.

On top of her resident knowledge, Mr Marshall also brings an extensive background in the industry – the business reports she’s worked in every aspect of real estate over the past 10 years.

Iain Carmichael, LJ Hooker’s managing director, said it was these two facets that made Ms Marshall a valuable recruit.

“It’s a special type of agent that brings experience from all areas of our diverse industry and to find one that is also a born and raised Baysider with so much enthusiasm for the area, we had to have her as part of the team,” he said.

This impending business growth was signalled by Mr Carmicahel earlier in the year when the team moved into a new space designed precisely for their needs.

“We have been waiting for a space that would allow us to look after our current team, continue to grow and ensure a great experience for our customers,” Mr Carmichael said at the time.

“The move has taken the business to the next level of professionalism for both the agents and support staff. It has been designed to be very welcoming and will enable us to continue to deliver exceptional services.”

The business director shared recently on REB’s Business Empowerment Showcase the importance he places on creating a positive experience for agents in his firm, which is why he chooses not to sell, focusing instead on providing support.
