Recently logging the achievement of selling her 1,000th property, Alexandra Porter believes that milestones present an opportunity to stop and reflect on where you started, while also looking to the future.
In conversation with Juliet Helmke, the lead agent at Coronis North in Brisbane recounts some of the challenges and changes she’s faced in her career – such as being told she wouldn’t make it because she was young and a woman. Locally, she’s ridden out large market adjustments, ranging from selling soon-to-be foreclosed homes during the global financial crisis to properties that have seen price increases of as much as 40 per cent.
