A leading South-East Queensland real estate team will take the reigns of the latest LJ Hooker expansion onto the state’s Sunshine Coast.
Joint principals at the new LJ Hooker Caloundra and Aura office, Jamie O’Brien and her parents Jo and Paul O’Brien will bring their collective six decades of industry experience to the fledgling office, where they will offer a full suite of real estate services across residential properties, from sales to property management.
“Together we have 60 years combined real estate experience, we embrace new technologies and upskill constantly through training,” Ms O’Brien said. “We treat every listing as if it was our own property and having established systems and ongoing support will enable us to deliver quality customer service.”
The trio made the switch to LJ Hooker Caloundra and Aura, located 20 kilometres south of the Sunshine Coast, from nearby Ray White Beerwah, which they operated for 12 years, and Ray White Aura, which operated for seven months.
Renowned for its surfing beaches, Caloundra offers a range of housing and unit styles to cater for all buyers, whether they be permanent residents or holiday-makers. Beach-front properties in the town range in price from $500,000 right up to $5 million.
Nearby Aura also offers a variety of dwelling types, from townhouses and duplexes priced in the low $600,000 range through to larger homes selling from $1 million.
According to the trio, the region’s affordability makes it an attractive proposition for young families seeking the lifestyle it offers, with other services, such as quality schools and a range of shopping centres and other amenities adding to its appeal.
They also expect that the new Bells Creek arterial road will shave 15 minutes off the trip to Brisbane by connecting the region directly to the Bruce Highway.
LJ Hooker’s head of network performance Stephen Mutton is thrilled to welcome the family to LJ Hooker.
He affirms that the combination of the O’Briens’ skills and expertise and LJ Hooker’s technology, marketing and support will ensure the Caloundra office is well positioned to become a major player in both the established and emerging markets on the Sunshine Coast.
Mr Mutton believes that “strategically it is important for [LJ Hooker] as a real estate network to have offices located in such as high growth areas, such the one we are seeing emerging in and around Caloundra and Aura”.
The LJ Hooker Caloundra and Aura office will also focus on the suburbs of Kings Beach, Dicky Beach, Shelly Beach, Moffat Beach, Pelican Waters and Little Mountain.
