A new Underwood agency has realised a decade-long dream for one couple.

Faziya Day and Mouzam Ali have launched a brand-new offering to the local community, branded Harcourts Elite Group.

With a team of 12, the auction-based office will offer up sales and property management assistance to its clientele.

Ms Day shared that the new office marks a special milestone, stating, “it’s been something my husband and I have been wanting to do for many years”.

“Having a young family comes with its own fair share of commitments, hence why we waited until our three sons were a little older,” she outlined.

The Underwood office location will see the new outfit focus its energies across Underwood, Kuraby, Rochedale, Eight Mile Plains, Springwood, and surrounds.

“These are areas which we know, love, and understand intimately,” she shared, with plans underfoot to host a variety of community-based events from the new location.

Not only will that involve the likes of cooking classes, buyer/seller seminars, and tenant information nights, but a big focus will also be on the creation of “a fun work environment where our team members are able to achieve a work/life balance”.

That emphasis has resonated with the leader of Harcourts Elite Group’s property management arm, Jennifer Crandon.

From her perspective, “a person who feels appreciated will always do more than what is expected”.

Mr Ali, whose background is in engineering, also sees the importance of treating staff well, sharing a quote from Richard Branson he firmly believes in: “Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don’t want to.”

Mitch Peereboom is the chief executive at Harcourts Queensland and has shared his excitement at what’s to come for the new brand and the team driving it forward.

“We could not be prouder to welcome such an energetic team of real estate professionals to the group,” he shared.

“Faziya and Mouzam’s leadership positions us for bright future in this market and we look forward to supporting their journey every step of the way.

“With a relentless desire to grow, it is no surprise they are off to a flying start. The office space they have brought to life is extremely impressive and a statement of their ambition to build a thriving business.”

Acknowledging the owners’ work within their local community as well, Mr Peereboom expressed that “their decision to join Harcourts Queensland is the greatest compliment we can receive as an organisation”.
