One global real estate brand’s top-performing Australasian owner has been hand-picked to lead its new far north Queensland office.
Billy Mitchell, the owner-operator of the Century 21 Platinum Agents office, will take the reins at Century 21 At Port (Port Douglas), bringing his 10 years of experience running sales and property management teams to develop the existing teams’ skills and knowledge and help boost the brand’s standing within the community.
The announcement of Mr Mitchell’s new venture comes after he was recognised as the network’s top-ranked Australasian office based on gross closed commissions.
Aside from the far north Queensland offices, Mr Mitchell also owns and operates two Century 21 Platinum Agents offices in south Queensland, at Gympie and Tin Can Bay, in addition to Century 21 Lifestyle in Caloundra.
“I am very excited and honoured to have been approached about the purchase of the business, and to continue to expand my business with the C21 brand,” Mr Mitchell said.
“When someone offers you a good opportunity, my thinking is, you say ‘Yes!’ and work it out later.”
Century 21 Australasia chief executive James Bell affirmed that with the network’s backing, Mr Mitchell’s migration north would be beneficial for himself, the brand, and the Port Douglas community.

Century 21 has touted the value of Port Douglas as a tourism destination, highlighting that the town’s proximity to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest attracts 1.2 million annual visitors to the area.
