After eight years with the brand, Gillian Hurst has been elevated to a position in the corporate office, taking on the role of franchise business support.
Ms Hurst began her career in real estate as a director’s assistant. She soon gained experience across the industry, working in sales, property management and administration before becoming an office director in 2018.
The network cited her kind approach together with her enthusiastic, friendly style and willingness to go above and beyond as the reason it was confident in her ability to foster consistent positive client experiences.
On her part, Ms Hurst commented: “I’m determined to see others succeed, this is why I’m so excited to take on this role. Seeing the people I work with thrive is one of my favourite aspects of the work I do.”
Having served as an ambassador of the OBrien Real Estate Foundation, it was also her familiarity with the company’s progression that made general manager Jason Mudford assured of her ability to rise to the new challenge.
The brand head said that he knew Ms Hurst would put her knowledge and experience to good use, “assisting her greater OBrien family to reach higher levels of success”.
He stressed the importance of building a strong corporate team to support the business’s growing number of agents.
