RE/MAX returns to Australian roots

RE/MAX Profile has relocated back to the Brisbane suburb where the brand first launched its presence in Australia.

The network will once again have an office in Kenmore, as the office’s owners, husband and wife team Adam and Roxanne Workman, make the move from Bardon to the riverside western suburb.

The firm’s sales and property management teams will now operate out of a central space at 1/6 Brookfield Road, which Mr and Ms Workman identified as “a better located site in a popular community hub and business precinct”.

Not only a sentimental return for the network, but the office move also shows great promise of upping RE/MAX Profile’s prominence in the west.

“We have excellent street exposure to traffic, which is more valuable than foot traffic, though the office is directly opposite Kenmore Village Shopping Centre,” Ms Workman explained.

“Kenmore State School is across Moggill Road and other schools are also within walking distance, and there are plenty of parking options in the area,” she added of the office’s prime spot.

The building has further significance for the network, as it is owned by former RE/MAX principal Giuseppe Chisari and his wife, Karen Chisari, who have always leased it out to a real estate business.

RE/MAX Profile’s market consists primarily of high-end homes and acreage through Kenmore and its neighbouring areas of Pullenvale, Anstead, Kenmore Hills, Chapel Hill and Fig Tree Pocket, so the move made sense from a logistical point of view.

And with many of their managed homes already in this area, the Workmans also felt the relocation set up their property management team for further growth and expansion of the rent roll.

Ms Workman also noted that the Kenmore site dovetails nicely with the location of their other business, RE/MAX Ignite in Riverhills, Ipswich.

“Our two businesses are ideally located in gateway precincts to Brisbane and Ipswich, separated by the Brisbane River,” Ms Workman said. She is located at the Kenmore office, while Mr Workman takes charge in Riverhills.
