Two former PRD men have departed the franchise group to start their own venture in regional NSW.
Reece Thompson and Ryan Clarke, recently announced as the brand’s number one and number three ranked agents, have left the network to establish Thompson & Clarke, which will be powered by UrbanX.
Thompson & Clarke is set to service the Hunter Region’s East Maitland and surrounds.
A statement outlining the pair’s new intentions reveals the pair have worked in unison for the past nine years, having established award-winning service and an outstanding reputation in their local communities.
Buoyed by having achieved over $230 million in sales from 315 transactions in the past year alone, the pair have indicated that now is the right time to build their own business.
“We are looking forward to having the freedom to run our own brand the way we want and create a bespoke service offering for all our clients,” Mr Clarke shared.
“By doing this, everything we do will be a true reflection of who we are, and this will come through in the experience.”
The pair’s wealth of experience will prove crucial to the success of their boutique East Maitland brand, as they aim to replicate their award-winning service that culminated in consistently being named as two of PRD’s top agents.
Mr Clarke shared that UrbanX’s goals “align closely with ours, which is really important in a partnership”.
Acknowledging their new partner as “hungry for success”, the top-ranked agent believes the new arrangement will better enable them to focus their time on listing and selling.
Thompson & Clarke officially opened on Monday, 27 July and can be found at 1/15 Mitchell Drive, East Maitland.
