LJ Hooker is doubling down on its promise to remain “laser-focused” on expansion, with the appointment of a strategic growth manager in NSW.
Kim Greenan joins the megabrand in this new role, bringing to the network her experience operating her own real estate business as well as a background in franchise growth for the likes of Ray White and McGrath.
The appointment signals the company’s commitment to cultivating new and internal growth in the 94-year-old business in the lead-up to its 2028 centenary.
Stephen Mutton, the firm’s Australian network head, said they were putting themselves forward as a place for agencies seeking support, direction and leadership in the current market.
“The support and systems offered by LJ Hooker will guide people through the current market and ensure that they come out the other side with an increased market share and better position for their business,” he said.
Ms Greenan’s appointment fills one of several new roles within the real estate network, which is also looking to recruit an additional strategic growth manager.
The industry veteran has big plans for the offices under her purview, but she believes they are well supported to take the next step.
“I believe the LJ Hooker brand offers real value to its franchisees and is the perfect platform to develop and grow a business, particularly with its training and development,” Ms Greenan said.
She noted that as a start, she’ll be focusing on encouraging owners to commit to growing their rent roll to underpin cash flow and turn it into a saleable asset.
“I’m looking forward to connecting with dynamic business owners who have achieved great sales records themselves and are engaging with their staff. The most exciting businesses are the ones that build teams, and cover a wider geographic area, than the traditional model of an office in every suburb,” she added.
Mr Mutton said that with her background, he had every confidence in Ms Greenan’s ability to guide their offices into the future.
“Kim has a wealth of experience and is multi-skilled in running businesses and assisting agents in growth — she knows the real estate business backwards,” he said,
