A Central Coast agency has been re-energised by a rebrand that it says more accurately reflects its growing footprint.
LJ Hooker Budgewoi will now go by LJ Hooker Budgewoi | Toukley, which business owner Rebecca Montgomery said is indicative of her team’s vast knowledge and expertise in the region.
Ms Montgomery and her husband, agency principal Damian Montgomery, also feel it’s a good strategic move, serving to let residents know they service a broader section of the Central Coast market beyond Budgewoi alone.
“This rebrand gives the whole area an LJ Hooker presence; balancing it out between other LJ Hooker offices at The Entrance and Wyong, and means that the region is being serviced effectively by our network,” Ms Montgomery said.
Being only 90 minutes from Sydney, the business expects to continue to cater to metro dwellers seeking a sea change or second home in the relaxed enclaves near Tuggerah Lake, Budgewoi Lake, Lake Munmorah and the many beachside stretches.
As they enter into this new era, the business also welcomes an expanded team, with agent Kevin Hughes joining the fold and taking their total number of real estate specialists to 12.
As a local, Mr Hughes will build on the team’s intimate knowledge of the area, which rests on the foundation of Mr and Ms Montgomery’s backgrounds as community members for the past 22 years.
In fact, Ms Montgomery started working for LJ Hooker when she was 19, and said she was pleased to be able to take her business into this new phase with the network
“People know and trust in the LJ Hooker brand and, especially in the current changing market, that’s important to sellers,” she said.
Stephen Mutton, LJ Hooker’s head of network in Australia, said the rebranding was a natural progression for the office as they continue to grow their market share.
“Rebecca and Damian Montgomery are both very passionate and energetic, and their drive to grow their business is second to none,” he said.
