The network welcomes the latest addition to its Mackay Results office, with the appointment of a local sales agent.

A Mackay local who is heavily entrenched in the local community, Nikita Kinnane, joins the company at a time when the market is thriving due to thriving coal prices and a strong stream of activity in and around the Bowen Basin.

Ms Kinnane said that these two factors mean that “investors are still seeing Mackay as a very safe and attractive option for their money”.

Highlighting the city’s affordability too, the agent believes “Mackay has got the very best of opportunities for both buyer groups”.

Moving to RE/MAX off the back of a two-year spell where the Mackay market’s steady gains have allowed her to kick career goals, Ms Kinnane sees her brand  change is occurring at the right time and will facilitate further professional advancement.

“I am very much looking forward to joining the award-winning RE/MAX team in Mackay and the opportunity to work alongside other high performers who are focused and outcome driven, but also grow my personal brand with the guidance of principal and director of the limitless group, Hayley Van de Ven,” she said.

After years of friendship and encouragement, Ms Van de Ven expressed her delight at being able to bring Ms Kinnane into the business at the ideal time for both parties.

“The time is right for Nikita,” she commented, stating that she has worked hard and been there for her young family at the same time.

“She has done incredibly well to launch herself with such success and I’ve been super impressed with her grit and tenacity.”

In addition to the guidance and support of the business as a whole, she hopes that the RE/MAX Conjunctional Agent model will allow Ms Kinnane to pocket more commission.

The recently updated model provides agents with full support and service, allowing them to focus their energy on the listing and selling of property in their community.

Ms Van de Ven concluded that with the assistance of the brand’s transition team, “Nikita can now look forward to kicking some big, audacious goals and navigating the changing market ahead.”
